Three

Three years ago today was by far one of the best days of my life.

I had a patient tell me the other day that she could tell that I had a good man in my life just by looking into my eyes. She couldn't be more right, although "good" doesn't really do Hans justice.
And now to see him as a dad, oh man... It's what he was meant to be.

Happy #3.

Seven Months

This is pretty much going to be picture overload. If I had any skills at all I could clump them into a collage or something, but I don't, so they aren't.

Swimming for the first time. Lucky enough to go with Sam on his 1st birthday.

I really wanted a picture of Els with a red tree. So I took a picture of Els with a red tree.

Elsie brought her game face to the pool.

All geared up at the RSL game.

Those Eyes. Kill me.

Those Lips. Kill me.

Six Months

Already? It's already been six months!?!

Our good friends Amanda and Luis (finally) got married
Isn't she lovely

First time in Bear Lake. She still doesn't like the cold water. Go figure. Sophie was shivering next to Elsie, but had to get in to use her new swim suit. She adores Elsie and calls her "Elsie Girl"

First time on a boat. We went up to Rockport on Craig's boat. Had perfect weather, perfect water, perfect company and perfect baby

First Food (if you can call rice cereal food and don't count Hans letting her lick a pickle)

We headed up to Logan for the annual Hubrich family picture aka Christmas card. We had to fit it in before Moni took off to London town. We crashed the Utah State soccer field and got some pretty cute shots

You gotta start em' young

Five Months

Here are another bunch of pictures. Partly they are to show off my beautiful baby girl, but mostly they are there for me to look at when I'm at work and missing her. I must warn you, she's getting cuter and cuter as the months fly by.

We went up to Snowbird to meet the team night for Real. All the players signed Elsie's Real onsie and then we got a picture with our favorite player, Will Johnson.

Hiking up to Timpanogas Cave

The two looks of Elsie... super serious

and super happy

I don't know what to call this look?

We love going to the park and spending time with dad

Schmelsie's schmeeks

Elsie is getting stronger and stronger every day. We've been trying her out in the Bumbo chair to help build her neck muscles to keep up those cheeks of hers. This is how things start...

...this is how things end up

Those things are heavy man

Long time no see

It's been awhile. A couple of months to be exact. I've been busy enjoying the life of being a mom and I've spent all my time playing with Elsie, staring at Elsie, laughing at Elsie...you get the idea. Well, she's three months old now! Three months. I just can't get enough of her. She smiles all the time and talks and talks to us and today, today she giggled. Twice. And both Hans and I were lucky enough to hear it. We both looked at each other with watery eyes and fell in love with our little elephant even more.

Unfortunately Maternity leave ended a couple of weeks ago for both of us. I've gone back to work and Hans ended up getting a real job, a 5 days a week job. That has taken some adjusting on our parts. He is working for the company that is contracted with UTA to do the Trax and Front Runner projects. He is really liking what he's doing and enjoys the people that he works with. Luckily I was able to go back part time and on the days that I work, Els spends time with her Grammy or her Nana. She is one lucky lady. Now comes all the pictures. Enjoy!
